Default Programming
Start-up (Default) IntraMail Configuration
When you install the IntraMail PCB and turn on the system, IntraMail will automatically start working with
the following default programming:
■ IntraMail extensions (343-350) are in Department Group 8, which is the Voice Mail Department Group.
■ The IntraMail Pilot (Master) Number is 700.
■ Subscriber Mailboxes are enabled for extensions 301-308. The mailbox numbers are the same as the
extension numbers.
■ Extension users for 301-308 can press MSG to call their mailbox.
■ The Automated Attendant does not answer outside calls.
Start-up Programming
For your reference, following is a list of the programs that are automatically configured by default.
Step 1 IntraMail extensions 343-350 are assigned to Department Group 8.
1.1 16-02-01: Department Group Assignment for Extensions
- IntraMail extensions 343-350 are assigned to Department Group 8.
- There are no other extensions in this group.
- The Department Group is set up in order (e.g., extension 343 is order 1, extension 344 is
order 2, etc.)
Step 2 The IntraMail Department Group uses master number 700.
2.1 11-07-01: Department Group Pilot Numbers
- The Pilot Number for the IntraMail Department Group is 700.
Step 3 Department Group 8 is the Voice Mail Department Group.
3.1 45-01-01: Voice Mail Integration Options, Voice Mail Department Group Number
- Department Group 8 is the Voice Mail Department Group.
Step 4 Extensions 301-308 use the MSG key for Voice Mail operation.
4.1 15-02-26: Multi-Line Telephone Basic Data Setup, MSG Key Operation Mode
- This option is 1 for extensions 301-308 and 0 for all other extensions.
- There are no Voice Mail Programmable Function Keys assigned (15-07-01: Programming
Function Keys does not = 77 for any extensions).
Step 5 Mailboxes for extensions 301-308 are activated.
5.1 47-02-01: IntraMail Subscriber Mailbox Options, Mailbox Active
- This option is 1 for extensions 301-308.
- When activating additional mailboxes, Subscriber Mailboxes 1-26 normally correspond to
extensions 301-326.
Step 6 For extensions 301-308, the Subscriber Mailbox numbers are the same as the extension numbers.
6.1 47-02-02: IntraMail Subscriber Mailbox Options, Mailbox Number
- Normally, Subscriber Mailbox numbers correspond to the respective extension number.
(For example, extensions 301-326 should use Subscriber Mailbox numbers 301-326).
Step 7 The IntraMail PCB is enabled.
7.1 47-01-01: IntraMail System Options, DSPDB Voice Mail Type
- This option is 0 (to enable IntraMail).
Additional IntraMail Programming
Step 8 These additional programs are also configured by default.
8.1 15-03-01: Single Line Telephone Basic Data Setup, SLT Signaling Type
- Set at 0 (DP) for extensions 343-350.
8.2 15-03-03: Single Line Telephone Basic Data Setup, Terminal Type
- Set at 1 for extensions 343-350.
8.3 15-03-05: Single Line Telephone Basic Data Setup, External Reverse
- Disabled (0) for extensions 343-350.
