PC Card Backup Error Messages
This error message . . . Means this . . .
NO PCCARD The PC card is not installed.
Install the PC card and try again.
ERASE FAILED The system could not overwrite an existing
database on the PC card.
Repeat the procedure. If you get the
message again, try another PC card.
SAVE FAILED The system could not save data to the PC
card.
Repeat the procedure. If you get the
message again, try another PC card.
ERROR: DBx VER ONLY The system database is the wrong type (the
database must be the same type (DB8 or
DB4).
Repeat the procedure using a PC Card
with the correct database type.
ERROR: BAD CARD TYPE The system could not restore the database
because the System Software PC card is
loaded.
Repeat the procedure after removing the
System Software PC Card and replacing it
with the Database PC Card.
