5.1 SwitchPortCtrl
Switch Port Control can enable or disable the PC Port on the connected IP
terminal(s).
Click on the check box(es) for the terminal(s), select the SwitchPortCtrl
option from the Command drop-down list, and click the Execute button.
From the PC Port drop-down list, select to open or close the PC Port by
selecting PCPort ON or PCPort OFF. Select the Command Transmit to use
(Send Once, Immediately or Send Until Successful - see page 1-14) and
click Execute.
When opening the PC Port connection, the speed and duplex information is
displayed.
If an “Error” status is displayed, reconnect the terminal(s) as the connection
may have been lost.
If a status of “PortCTL N/A” is displayed, the terminal is busy downloading and
the port change is not performed and should be attempted again after the
terminal has had a chance to finish.
If, while the PC Port is open as indicated in the IP Phone Manager, the
terminal or main device closes the connection, the terminal shows a status as
if in a busy state, “PortCTL N/A”.
When closing the PC Port connection, the status will change from OK to
Complete.
