SECTION 4 AUTOCONFIG SETUP EXAMPLE
4.1 Required Equipment
The following is a list of required equipment for the AutoConfig for the UX5000
IP Terminals.
❏ IP Phone Manager
Free software available for download on NEC web site. This
software is used to create the configuration file for the IP terminals.
❏ FTP Server
Free software available on the web.
❏ DHCP Server
This Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server must
define a Vendor Class. The DHCP server must also define Option
Codes.
4.2 Building the Configuration File
Launch the IP Phone Manager software.

Once the software is launched, click
on the
Auto Config tab.
