3.3 Data Entry Field
Use the Data Entry Field to enter all required values for the Menu Tree option that has
been selected.
1. Data Entry – Select a Menu Tree Option and enter the required data. The
data editing area looks different depending on whether a single configura-
tion file or a multiple terminal configuration file is created. With a single
configuration, the data will be applied to all terminals. When a multiple
configuration file is edited, the data can be applied to specific terminals.
With a multiple configuration, certain options will provide an Input Type
window to allow for a selection of “Same Value”, “Increment Value”, or “Even
Increment Value”.
When
Same Value is selected, the entered number is used for all terminals.
Using
Increment Value, the beginning value and ending value is entered.
The input value for each terminal is then incremented by one number,
beginning with the start value. With the
Even Increment option, the even
numbered values are assigned to the terminals within the range specified. (If
an odd number is set as the start value, the next even value will be used as
the starting point.)
