FTP/TFTP Server:
1. Select the type of server - FTP or TFTP.
2. Define the IP address of the server.
3.
For FTP Only: Enter the User ID.
4.
For FTP Only: Enter the Password.
5.
For FTP Only: Enter the Directory name.
Error Log Option:
1. From the Filename drop-down list, select the file name type - MAC, IP
address, or phone (extension) number. When an error log file is created,
the file is saved to the FTP/TFTP server using the type as the file name.
For example, if MAC is selected, the file saved “00-60-B9-0B-0C-A6_tlog”.
2. Use the Simultaneous Downloads to select the quantity of terminals (1-8)
that will access and attempt downloads at the same time. All remaining
terminals will be put into queue for next available spot. Some server
applications only have the ability to handle limited simultaneous
connections – consult your server documentation for any limitations.
Command Transmit:
Select the Command Transmit to use (Send Once, Immediately or Send
Until Successful - see page 1-14). Send Until Successful will send the
command until a terminal is free and accepts the command. Send Once,
Immediately will send the command once and if the terminal is busy, the
command is not processed.
