a. In the Setup Unit window, enter
a name for the flow computer in the
Unit Name field.
b. In the IP Address field, enter the
IP address assigned to your flow
computer (Section 0).
c. Adjust the Modbus ID, Modbus
Type, Modicon Compatible, and
Modbus Port settings to exactly
match the settings specified when the
Ethernet port was configured from the
front panel of the flow computer.
Click OK to save the changes.
7.
Repeat Steps 5 through 6 to add more
units to this Ethernet site, as needed.
8.
When you have finished adding units,
click OK to exit the remaining open
windows (Setup Unit and Setup
Communications).
9.
You can repeat the previous steps to add
more Ethernet sites and units.
Connecting through a USB Port
To connect through the front panel USB port or OMNI CPU USB port, follow these instructions:
1.
Click the Home tab on the
OMNICONNECT ribbon.
2.
Click the Sites button in the Home ribbon
to open the Setup Sites window.
3.
In the Setup Sites window, click Add Site
to open the Setup Communications
window.
