Select one of the following, then click the Next Button.
CX-Programmer Online Connection
Select this set-up type to monitor or debug ladder programs within
CX-Simulator only from CX-Programmer. In this case, CX-Programmer
must be installed on the computer in advance.
FinsGateway Application Connection
Select this set-up type for either of the following cases.
When connecting with an application (such as PLC Reporter) that uses
FinsGateway communications.
When connecting with an application that sends and receives FINS com-
mands via Controller Link or Ethernet from another computer. In this case,
however, a virtual communications unit for FinsGateway must be installed
in advance.
Note
Even with one of the set-ups above selected, it is still possible to start-up and
make an online connection from CX-Programmer, and to conduct serial
communications using the serial port of the computer.
7. The Choose Destination Location Dialog Box will be displayed.
When installing for CX-Programmer online connection, this dialog box is
not displayed. The installation is automatically done in the same directory
in which the CX-Server has been installed.
Confirm the installation destination, then click the Next Button.
8. The Select Program Folder Dialog Box will be displayed.
