The cable shown in Fig. 3.17 connects the Radio Unit module to the Front Panel
respectively through P01 and DB37 connectors. Moreover it provides the Radio
Unit module with the vehicular battery supply voltage.

The two cables shown in Fig. 3.18 provide the connection (through FPG1/A rear
PEI or J1 FPG1/A front PEI connector) of the VS 2001 vehicular radio to an
external PC for the downloading of application software, setting-up of the operating
parameters and functional monitoring.
