6.1 Verication of General Condition

Check all safety-related components for corrosion, repair if required and reapply corrosion
protection.
❒ Check welding seams.
❒
Check tightness of screw connections; replace thread-locking compound if required; observe
dened torque specications; replace defective screws (e.g. in case of corrosion).
❒ Check cables for ruptures, signs of wear and proper attachment; replace defective compo-
nents according to the cable layout plan.
❒ Check cable connections and plug connections.
6.2 Fuse Replacement
The fuse is located in a small yellow housing with a hinged cover inside the battery case.
1. Open the battery strap.
2. Remove the cover.
3. Open the cover of the fuse housing.
4. Pull out the fuse and replace if required.
Properly reassemble all components upon completion of the work.
