Preventive Maintenance and Testing Schedule
Introduction This section contains a maintenance and testing schedule for service personnel.
Before servicing or repairing the LIFEPAK 500 AED, service personnel should
become familiar with all of the information in this electronic service manual.
Periodic maintenance, inspection, and testing of the Unit will help prevent
possible electrical and mechanical problems. Performing these procedures will
help detect any problems that may occur.
Guidelines
*In circumstances where extreme vibration or rough treatment is commonplace,
an annual PIP may be indicated to help ensure that the AED still meets
manufacturer’s specifications.
