Periodic maintenance, inspection, and testing of the LIFEPAK 500 AED will help
prevent and detect possible electrical and mechanical problems. The Preventive
Maintenance section provides instructions recommended by Physio-Control for
inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining the LIFEPAK 500 AED. Follow these
recommendations to help keep the LIFEPAK 500 AED in proper working
