6. Close down the plant and implement the lockout
procedure.
n WARNING
Refer to Safety Notices Section for relevant
warning and procedure
LOCKOUT PLANT
4. Connect suitable lifting shackles and lifting
equipment to the lifting points on the safety
gate.
5. Raise the gate using the lifting equipment
and rotate the gate back 180° until the gate is
supported by it’s on weight.
NOTICE
Ensure that suitable lifting equipment
is used when putting the safety gate
into the transport position. Under NO
circumstances should the safety gate be
lifted manually.
