3.2.4 I/O Signal Line Placement
• Input and output signal lines must be separated from the power control cables for operating circuits.
• If this is not possible, use a shielded cable and connect the shield to the ST's frame.
3.3 Tool Connector
The ST’s Data Transfer Cable, Memory Loader, or the Bar Code Reader can be attached to the ST
unit’s Tool Connector.
When the Bar Code Reader uses a separate power supply:
• Turn the Bar Code Reader ON before turning the ST ON.
• Turn the ST OFF before turning the Bar Code Reader OFF.
About Connectable Bar Code Reader,
To prevent an electric shock, unplug the ST unit’s power cord from the main power supply
prior to attaching or detaching any connector(s) to or from the ST.
