CAUTION
Unplug the main machine power cord before starting the following
procedure.
NOTE: To install this option, the Printer/Scanner Option must be installed first.
("3.20.2) Only one slot is available for the interface option. You can install
only one printer interface option at a time: File Format Converter (B519),
IEEE 1394 (G336), IEEE 802.11b (B515), USB 2.0 (B525-01), or Bluetooth
(G354).
1. Remove the machine rear, controller board cover, and middle knockout.
("3.20.1)
2. Remove the slot cover [A] ( x 2). Save these screws
3. Attach the USB 2.0 board [B] to the controller board.
4. Fasten the board with the screws [C] removed in Step 2.
5. Execute SP5990 5 to print a Self-Diagnostic Report with the system settings
and confirm that the machine correctly recognizes the interface.
