Troubleshooting
When the (Jam) indicator blinks
Check error locations and error numbers (Error Number Display) and take the following procedures:

An obstacle exists under the Paper Feed
Tray or on the paper.
Check if any obstacle exists under the Paper Feed Tray or
on the paper. If an obstacle exists, remove it.
The Stripper Unit has been disconnected. Set the Stripper Unit
correctly.

A master has not been correctly wrapped
around the Print Drum.
1) Pull out the Print Drum slowly, and then remove the
master on the Print Drum.p.114
2) Set the Print Drum into the machine.
3) Open the Master-Making Unit Cover and set the master
again.
4) Close the Master-Making Unit Cover.
5) Perform the master-making operation again.
Contact your dealer (or authorised service representative) if
the error is not cleared.

A master has not been sent to the Master
Disposal Box.
1) Pull out the Print Drum slowly, and then remove the
master on the Print Drum.p.114
2) Set the Print Drum again.
3) Press the <Start> key.

A paper jam has occurred around the Print
Drum
1) Pull out the Print Drum slowly.

2) If you find jammed paper, remove it.

A master has not been correctly set. Open the Master-Making Unit Cover, remove the Master
Roll, and then set the master correctly. If the master is
loose, turn the right flange inward to correct it, and then
close the Master-Making Unit Cover.
