Tools Menu
STEP 4. Select the Tools>Firmware Update option from the Main menu, or click on
the Firmware Update icon in the quick access toolbar. If the rmware is out
of date, a dialog box will appear. See Figure 53.

STEP 5. Select the Perform rmware update option, and then click on the OK button.
STEP 6. A second dialog box will open. See Figure 54. Agree with the terms and
conditions by selecting the appropriate option. Then, click on the OK button. If
instead wanting to abort the rmware update, select the Disconnect from the
TripSaver II and work ofine without performing rmware update
option and click on the OK button.

The update process can take several minutes and automatically completes the following:
• Saves a snapshot le before updating the rmware (See Figure 55.)
• Updates the rmware (See Figure 56 on page 42.)
• Applies the settings and historical logs from the saved snapshot le back to the
TripSaver II recloser (If new features are available after the update, default settings
for those features will be loaded to the TripSaver II recloser.)
• Opens the software screens that support the newly loaded rmware
