Installing / ex-
changing the
battery

This work may only be performed by appropriately qualified personnel.
Only the maintenance-free safety battery available as an optional extra may be in-
stalled.

Switch off the splicer! Disconnect the power plug!

Remove the bat-
tery retaining
angle
Loosen the self-locking nuts (1) and remove the battery retaining angle.
