Switch off the splicer, then
switch it back on again. If
the fault still occurs, the
splicer must be repaired at
a service center.

Clean elec-
trodes
The set electrode cleaning interval has
been exceeded.
Clean the electrodes at the
next opportunity and then
reset the counter in the
Parameter menu.
Replace elec-
trodes
The set electrode change interval has
been exceeded.
Change the electrodes at
the next opportunity and
then reset the counter in
the Parameter menu.
Fault messages
during fiber loca-
tion and position-

distance too

Fibers wrongly

The fiber ends must
project 5 to 6 mm
out of the guides
with the fiber holder
flaps closed.
