RAM MEMORY ERROR The analyzer has detected a problem with the
area of memory used for storage of data and
system information.
1. Contact Siemens Service.
SYRINGE PUMP DRIVE FAIL The analyzer has detected a problem with the
movement of the syringe pump.
1. Perform a reset by turning the analyzer off and then back on.
2. If the problem persists, contact Siemens Service.
TEST CANCELLED NO LOT OR
ID NUMBER ENTERED, PRESS
CONTINUE
A control ID number was not entered for the
sample being run for QC.
The PFA test cartridge lot number was not
entered for the sample being run for QC.
1. Press the softkey located next to Continue.
2. Rerun the sample, and enter the control ID number and the PFA
test cartridge lot number required for control.
INVALID CARTRIDGE TYPE
DETECTED
The PFA test cartridge loaded to perform a test
is not a valid PFA test cartridge type (Collagen/
EPI or Collagen/ADP).
The analyzer has detected an invalid PFA test
cartridge due to a defective type code slot or
sensor.
Warning: False results due to mix-up of test types in the instrument
software
1. Do not use the results for diagnosis while the problem persists.
2. Rerun the sample using a new PFA test cartridge. If the problem
persists, contact Siemens Service.
TRIGGER SYSTEM FAIL Air was detected coming from the trigger
solution bottle after three successive attempts
to prime the analyzer.
1. Make sure the trigger solution bottle is full.
2. Perform a reset by turning the analyzer off and then back on.
3. If the problem persists, contact Siemens Service.
