Cleaning O-Ring manually If the vacuum test fails, the O-Ring has to be cleaned manually, proceed as
follows:
1. Select Menu > Maintenance > Remove O-Ring.
2. Follow the instructions on the display (place the O-Ring service tool in
the analyzer).
3. Remove the O-Ring manually and clean it with distilled or deionized
water and a dust-free tissue.
4. Replace the O-Ring in the analyzer: Select Menu > Maintenance >
Install O-Ring.
5. Repeat the Self Test.
For the self test refer to Chapter 9.1.
Priming trigger solution 1. Select Menu > Maintenance > Trigger Prime.
2. Place a priming cartridge in the analyzer and follow the instructions on
the display.
For the daily alignment check for trigger solution dispensing refer to
Chapter 9.1.
Loading sample Use only fresh whole blood sample anti-coagulated with buffered sodium
citrate.
1. Remove and discard the top foil seal from the PFA test cartridge(s).
