Insulation
The insulation is designed in accordance with the requirements of EN 61131-2: 2007.
Note
For modules with 24 VDC supply voltage, the electrical isolation is designed for max.
60 VAC / 75 VDC and basic insulation is designed according to EN 61131-2: 2007.

Protection class in accordance with IEC 61131-2: 2007
Protection class I or III, depending on module type
Degree of protection IP20
Degree of protection IP20 in accordance with IEC 60529 for all modules of the S7-1500
automation system, i.e.:
● Protection against contact with standard test finger
● Protection against foreign objects with diameters in excess of 12.5 mm
● No protection against water
