5.3-3 Install the Lift Cylinder
1. Use lifting straps to lift the cylinder and insert it
into the mast. Make sure the emergency lowering
valve coil faces the rear of the machine.
2. Use the bolts and washers removed earlier
to secure the lift cylinder to the bottom of the
chassis.
3. Connect the hydraulic hose to the emergency
lowering valve manifold.
4. Install the hex standoff and red knob on the
emergency lowering valve. Hold the valve shaft
with a wrench to keep it from turning when you
install and tighten the hex standoff.
5. Connect the electrical harness to the emergency
lowering valve coil.
