Section 5 – Procedures Display Module
5.7-5 Set the Access Level
To set the ACCESS LEVEL (LEVEL 1 CODE - 1275)
for set up and adjustment, do the steps that follow:
1. Make sure the display shows the main page.
2. Press the MIDDLE button twice.
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to nd the
PASSWORD menu, then press the MIDDLE
button to select it.
4. The display shows the initial code **** with the
rst * underlined.
5. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the rst
digit of the code.
6. Press the RIGHT button to move to the next digit
(the second digit becomes underlined).
7. Set the second digit of the code.
8. Repeat steps 5-7 for all the code digits. Make
sure you enter the correct code. If a number is
wrong, press LEFT and RIGHT to select it again,
and UP and DOWN to correct it.
9. Press the MIDDLE button to conrm the code.
The ACCESS LEVEL changes when you enter
the correct code.
10. If the code you entered is incorrect, the ACCESS
LEVEL goes to ACCESS LEVEL 3.
11. Cycle power to the machine to restore ACCESS
LEVEL 3 for normal daily operation.
5.7-6 Set the Language
1. Make sure the display shows the main page.
2. Change the ACCESS LEVEL to level 1 (see 57-
5 Set the Access Level)
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to nd the
LANGUAGE menu, then press the MIDDLE
button to select it.
4. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to nd the
desired language. Press the MIDDLE button to
select it.
5. The display asks if you are sure. Press the LEFT
button to say NO and exit without the change.
Press the MIDDLE button to say YES and save
the change.
6. If you said YES, the display shows “SAVING
PARAMETER. WAIT PLEASE.” Do not cycle
power to the machine while waiting.
7. Cycle power to the ZAPI display to restore
ACCESS LEVEL 3 for normal daily operation.
5.7-7 Set the Machine Type
1. Make sure the display shows the main page.
2. Change the ACCESS LEVEL to level 1 (see 57-
5 Set the Access Level)
3. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to nd the
MACHINE TYPE menu, then press the MIDDLE
button to select it.
4. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to nd the
desired machine type. Press the MIDDLE
button to select it.
5. The display asks if you are sure. Press the LEFT
button to say NO and exit without the change.
Press the MIDDLE button to say YES and save
the change.
6. If you said YES, the display shows “SAVING
PARAMETER. WAIT PLEASE.” Do not cycle
power to the machine while waiting.
7. Cycle power to the ZAPI display to restore
ACCESS LEVEL 3 for normal daily operation.
