18.1.7 Function and Alarm Testing
Step 9 Set the following parameters in the CPAP preview mode:
Ti..........................1 sec.
CPAP...................5 mbar
PIP.......................20 mbar

After pressing the confirm button the user will be presented with the
CPAP screen.
Set the high alarm to 30 mbar
Step 10 Check that:
Backup is set to OFF and apnoea is detected after 20 seconds
(Default value after power up).

................is set to OFF. (This button will not appear
when functional testing with no flow sensor fitted).
Note: Press the manual breath button twice to display the measured PIP
value.
Step 11 Verify that:
the test lung inflates.
