The time setting can be selected from two types; PC time used as the system
time, and NMEA time obtained from an outside system such as GPS:
(1) PC TIME: When PC time is used for this system, select the radio button of
PC TIME. For the PC time, TIME ADJUSTMENT can be changed, and time
can be corrected on the second time scale.
(2) NMEA TIME: When NMEA time is used as the time for this system, select
the radio button of NMEA TIME. For NMEA TIME, enter the difference
between the PC time and GMT time in GMT OFFSET.
By entering a checkmark in the checkbox of SUMMER TIME, the time obtained
by adding one hour to the system time will be used as the time for this system.
* There are cases in which the following error message appears when “CLOCK
SETTING” is selected from the menu after the battery inside the model PRC-63
computing unit ran down, or after the battery was replaced. If this error message
window appears, click “Continue”. A time setting dialog box will appear, so set
the time.
