4-3-3 Types and settings of the EXTERNAL
TRIGGER OUTPUT signals
The EXTERNAL TRIGGER OUTPUT signal can be set by selecting COMMON
ES SETTING described in Section 3-1-3.
Fig. 4-8 COMMON ES SETTING dialog
SYNC OUTPUT
SYNC OUTPUT is set to synchronize with ultrasound devices that differ in
frequency. It outputs external triggers simultaneously with the transmission of
the transducer of this system. The output timing is described in Fig. 4-9.
RANGE END OUTPUT
RANGE END OUTPUT is set to synchronize between ultrasound devices
similar in frequency. It outputs external triggers from the transmission range end
of the transducer of this system after the range end output delay time. The output
timing is described in Fig. 4-9.
RANGE END OUTPUT DELAY TIME
RANGE END OUTPUT DELAY TIME is used when the RANGE END
OUTPUT is selected from EXTERNAL TRIGGER OUTPUT. The numerical
value shown to the right is the actual delay time. (Fig. 4-8 shows the delay of
0.0msec). It outputs external trigger at the timing of the selected numerical value
x range. The output timing is described in Fig. 4-9.
