RX SETTING is used for changing the screen settings such as the GAIN.

(1) TVG MODE
TVG MODE is used for selecting the correction mode appropriate for each use
purpose. The required correction mode is shown in Fig. 3-47 by pressing the left
key on its radio button.
The modes are described below:
SV (20log): This setting is effective for finding a school fish.
TS (40log): This setting is effective for determining a single fish.
CONV: Selecting this mode can enable the CONV TVG in Fig. 3-47, and
changing the value can set the correction value. If the set value decreases,
the GAIN of the near distance increases. If the value increases, the GAIN of
the near distance decreases.
FLT: Regardless of the distance, correction is made with the fixed GAIN.
