Caution for installation sites
(1) Avoid using this system in a place that may reach high temperatures of
50°C or more, such as in direct sunlight or near heating systems for a long
period of time.
(2) Avoid using this system in a place that is humid or exposed to direct
splashes from waves.
Caution for inspections of the ship bottom and equipment
While inspecting the ship bottom, wear a helmet and safety shoes.
Inspections must be performed with two or more persons to ensure that contact
with the outside is possible, whenever necessary.
Prevention of an electric shock accident caused by the high-
pressure sections
(1) Before checking inside the system for maintenance and inspections, ensure
to turn OFF the power switch because some sections use high voltages.
(2) Before checking inside the system for maintenance and inspections, wash
your hands to remove any salt. If your working clothes and shoes are wet,
change them for dry ones.
(3) If someone around you is electrocuted, avoid direct contact because it may
lead to a risk of an electric shock. Alert everyone in a loud, calm voice, and turn
OFF the power switch or use a piece of wood to help. Then, use artificial
respiration or other general means of resuscitation.
