registered, SM.GC/C will dispatch the elevator that has qualification of response to this call
according to the pre-calculated result.
The aim of this principle is to minimize the waiting time after call of each passenger. For this
reason, consideration shall be mainly given to following aspects:
1) Distance penalty score
According to the distance between the call button and the elevator, there is a penalty score.
Normally, one score for one floor, if the floor is higher than normal the score could be two or three,
etc.
2) Reverse penalty score
According to principle of forward direction priority, set a reverse direction penalty score, the
principles is shown as follow:
a) Down call from above elevator or up call from below elevator will get 3 to 8 penalty score.
b) If the elevator is running upward and there is no instruction registration or up call above,
then give the down call from below elevator 3 penalty score. As the same, if the elevator is
running downward and there is no instruction registration or down call distribution forward, then
give the up call above the elevator 3 penalty score.
3) Instruction or call penalty score
It will take an elevator some time to respond to the instruction or call signal registered. If
there is any instruction registered or the same direction call dispatched between the elevator and
the button, each call button which is registered will get three penalty score.
4) Overpass penalty score
To increase efficiency of the elevator and prevent overpass situation, there is an overpass
penalty when calculate the score of each button for each elevator. Normally, when there is another
elevator in the same direction is forward away from the behind elevator, the farther forward button
for the behind elevator will get 8 penalty score.
5) Energy saving punish
If the elevators have the function of energy saving operation, when one elevator is in energy
saving mode, a score of 80 will be added to penalty score of all buttons.
Each elevator corresponds to each button, and a penalty punish score is accumulated
according to the above-mentioned principles. There is punish core for each call button
corresponding to each elevator, by comparing the amount of score mutually, and the qualification
of this button is assigned to the elevator having a minimum penalty score.
6.6.6 Treatment in Special Situation
When one elevator in the group control system has fault or can not run normally because of
power off or other causes, the system will remove the elevator from group control automatically
and distribute the call signal to the rest elevators in normal operation. Even if only one elevator
runs in the group control system, the system will always maintain continuity and rationalization of
arrangement.
If SM.GC/C fails to operate, SM-01 will transfer to single elevator mode automatically after
it confirms the situation, accordingly which ensures the elevators in the group exert the maximum
service efficiency.
