7.12 Control Data CRC Error — ALM
Condition
If CRC value for cycle data changes during cycle, cycle aborts.
NOTE: Monitored every second whenever machine is in any cycle.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Contact STERIS.
2. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed.
7.13 Cup Empty — ALM
Condition
Occurs if cartridge empty sensor (LS12) does not sense H2O2 in line after 10 seconds from start of phase. Sterilizer
automatically aborts cycle.
NOTE:
Cartridge empty sensor (LS12) is a normally open switch that closes when fluid is detected in fill tubing.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
H2O2 Cup is empty.
1. Replace Cup.
Cup is not empty (cannot open receiver door).
1. Contact STERIS.
Receiver door opens but Sterilant still in Cup.
1. Follow Sterilant handling instruction.
2. Contact STERIS.
7.14 Cup Expired — ALM
Condition
Occurs if control determines Sterilant Cartridge (Cup) shelf life has expired or after 14 days from the date the current
Cup was first punctured.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Date of puncture is retained and on day 15 (12 a.m.) Cup
status is set to expired.
1. Run Cup dispose cycle and insert new Cup.
Date changes could trigger alarm.
1. Change date in Supervisor mode prior to puncturing
or inserting Cup in reservoir.
Expiration date on Cup is reached (shelf life).
1. Use new Cup.
