7.55 Too Long to Air Break — ALM
Condition
Occurs if it takes longer than three minutes to reach target air break pressure after start of air break phase. Sterilizer
remains in alarm condition (indefinitely) until air pressure is reached.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is complete.
2. If door opens and alarm clears, run empty Non
Lumen cycle.
3. If cycle passes, place Sterilization Unit back into
service. If not, contact STERIS.
4. If door does not open and/or alarm does not clear,
contact STERIS.
7.56 Too Long to Charge (Air Compressor) — ALM
Condition
Occurs if Compressed Air Utility Pressure Switch (PS1) does not actuate after five minutes upon Sterilization Unit start-
up.
NOTE: PS1 is a normally open switch that closes when air pressure is above 60 psig.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. If alarm clears, run cycle.
2. If alarm won't clear, contact STERIS.
