7.60 Too Long to Heat Chamber — ALM
Condition
Occurs if chamber and door heaters have been ON for at least 90 minutes and RTD3 (Chamber Temperature Sensor)
reading has not reached 50 C (122 F) at any time except in Standby phase. Unit continues to heat chamber to setpoint.
A cycle does not start until temperature is reached.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Verify chamber door is closed.
Unit in Standby.
1. Heaters are disabled in Standby. Ensure screen is
on Cycle Select screen.
2. Wait for chamber temperature to reach 49.5 C (121
F), select cycle.
3. Check Status screen to ensure temperature is
increasing.
4. If chamber does not heat, contact STERIS.
Facility 3–phase voltage issue.
1. Ask Maintenance to verify 208 V on all legs of 3–
phase voltage.
7.61 Too Long to Heat Vapor — ALM
Condition
Occurs if vaporizer heater has been ON for at least 60 minutes and RTD1 (Vaporizer Temperature Sensor) reading has
not reached 60 C (140 F) at any time except in Standby phase. Unit continues to heat vaporizer to setpoint. A cycle does
not start until temperature is reached.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Heaters are disabled in Standby. Ensure screen is
on Cycle Select screen.
2. Wait for vaporizer temperature to reach 59.5 C
(139 F), select cycle.
3. Check status screen to ensure temperature is
increasing.
4. If vaporizer does not heat, contact STERIS.
Facility 3–phase voltage issue.
1. Ask Maintenance to verify 208 V on all legs of 3–
phase voltage.
