7.34 Inject Switch Failure — ALM
Condition
Occurs if injection cylinder complete (LS10) and injection cylinder fill (LS11) switches are closed at same time. Sterilizer
automatically aborts cycle.
NOTE:
Injection cylinder complete sensor (LS10) is a normally open switch that closes when injection cylinder is in up position.
Injection cylinder fill sensor (LS11) is a normally open switch that closes when injection cylinder is in down position.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed.
7.35 I/O Board Communication Failure — ALM
Condition
Communication with IO board has been lost. Monitored whenever system has power following boot process.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Cycle power on Unit.
2. Contact STERIS if alarm does not clear.
3. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed.
7.36 Leak Test Failure — ALM
Condition
Occurs if the measured leak rate in the chamber is above 0.30 mmHg/min (torr), chamber door remains locked.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Contact STERIS.
Chamber not clean.
1. Remove all tape, labels, and tags from chamber
(including top and sides).
2. Clean chamber per Section 8.4, Cleaning Sterilization
System.
3. Run Lumen cycle with no load in chamber.
4. If cycle passes, Unit is operational.
