7.48 Pressure Rise Low — ALM
Condition
Occurs during Sterilize phase if chamber pressure rise is below 6.3 Torr one minute after Sterilant injection. Unit
automatically aborts cycle.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed.
Load too wet.
1. "Load Test Repeat" printed on cycle tape.
2. Dry and reprocess load and rerun cycle.
Improper Load.
1. Remove load.
2. Verify chamber is clean.
3. Run Lumen cycle with no load in chamber.
4. If no alarm, Unit is operational.
Chamber overloaded.
1. Reduce load content.
2. Load must be reprocessed and ran again.
3. Verify chamber is clean and free of debris (tags,
labels, and tape).
Instruments not compatible with this Unit.
1. Verify load content compatibility.
Load is too cold.
1. Ensure room is warmer than 15 C (59 F) and load is
not stored near AC vent.
2. Wait 10 minutes with load in closed chamber prior
to starting cycle.
7.49 Printer Does Not Print — NonALM
Condition
Printer is unresponsive or does not print properly (Non-Alarm).
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
No paper on roll or incorrect thermal paper installed.
1. Verify correct paper and correct loading on thermal
printer.
2. If issue not corrected, contact STERIS.
