7.50 Printer Failure — ALM
Condition
Communication with printer fails.
NOTE: Addition of cycle log enables past cycles to be reprinted. Monitored whenever data is sent to
the printer.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Verify printer has paper.
2. Load new paper roll if empty.
3. Cycle power to Unit after loading paper if printer is
buzzing.
4. Contact STERIS if alarm does not clear.
5. Unit can still be used as cycles are stored in log and
can be printed later or saved to USB.
7.51 Real Time Clock Failure — ALM
Condition
Occurs if the real time clock and system timer base differ by more than 1% over 5 minutes or if the real time clock date
is earlier than the compile date of the program.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. If alarm clears, rerun cycle.
2. If it passes, place Unit back into service.
3. If alarm does not clear or reappears, contact
STERIS.
Incorrect time or date on display or cycle tape.
1. Select OPTIONS from Cycle screen.
2. Select SET DATE AND TIME. Enter correct date and
time.
3. Return to main Cycle Screen.
4. If Unit does not display correct "Date and Time,"
contact STERIS.
