7.37 Load Too Wet — ALM
Condition
Occurs during Condition phase if all three moisture checks fail.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed.
Load too wet.
1. Dry load and reprocess.
Chamber not clean.
1. Remove all tape, labels, and tags from chamber
(including top and sides).
2. Clean chamber per Section 8.4, Cleaning Sterilization
System.
3. Run Lumen cycle with no load in chamber.
4. If cycle passes, Unit is operational.
Improper load.
1. Remove load.
2. Verify chamber is clean.
3. Run Lumen cycle with no load in chamber.
4. If no alarm, Unit is operational.
5. Verify load contents are compatible and properly
wrapped.
Chamber leak.
1. Run leak test.
2. If leak test fails, contact STERIS.
7.38 LS10 Switch Failure — ALM
Condition
LS10 is in cylinder retracted position at cycle start or is disconnected from Unit. Monitored only at start of a cycle.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Contact STERIS.
2. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed.
