7.24 Door Unlocked — ALM
Condition
Occurs if door A or B unlocked switch (LS5/ LS6) closes during a cycle. Sterilizer automatically aborts cycle.
NOTE:
Door A/B unlocked sensors (LS5/LS6) are normally open switches that close when door A/B are unlocked.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Door is unlocked.
1. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed. Close door and start
empty Non Lumen test cycle.
2. If no alarm, return to service.
3. If alarm returns, contact STERIS.
Door is locked.

Abort Phase is completed.
2. Contact STERIS.
7.25 Draw Tube Switch Failure — ALM
Condition
Occurs if control reads LS8 and LS9 being closed at same time.
NOTE:
Draw tube cylinder extend sensor (LS8) is a normally open switch that closes when draw tube cylinder is fully extended.
Draw tube cylinder retract sensor (LS9) is a normally open switch that closes when draw tube cylinder is fully retracted.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. If alarm clears, run empty cycle.
2. If it passes, place Unit back into service.
3. If alarm does not clear, contact STERIS.
7.26 Failure Reading PT1 — ALM
Condition
Occurs if PT1 is reading outside of normal range.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed. Call STERIS.
