7.52 Reservoir Overfill — ALM
Condition
Occurs In- or Out-of- Cycle if the reservoir overfill sensor indicates a reservoir overfill condition for more than 3
seconds.
NOTE: The 3 second delay because bubbles are generated by the fill process and would trigger false
positive alarms. The 3 seconds has been deemed enough time for most bubbles to burst.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Load must be repackaged and reprocessed after
Abort Phase is completed.
2. If alarm won't clear, contact STERIS.
7.53 Scanner Failure
Condition
RFID scanner reports an error.
NOTE:
Monitored whenever a Sterilant Cup is read. Cup read occurs when Service Mode is exited or when Sterilant Cup door is
closed.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Contact STERIS.
2. If alarm occurs during cycle, load must be
repackaged and reprocessed after Abort Phase is
completed.
Faulty Cup.
1. Test different Cup.
7.54 Software Reboot
Condition
Occurs on next startup if a software kernel error or watchdog timeout resets main control board and error has been
recorded. Prints Task xx Error ##.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Acknowledge alarm.
1. Contact STERIS; Unit may continue to be used.
2. If alarm occurs during cycle, load must be
repackaged and reprocessed after Abort Phase is
completed.
Reboot issue.
1. Cycle power on control.
2. Attempt to run test cycle.
