: Lay wiring harness and short
circuit wire in cable guides
(arrows) under the ignition lead.
– Push connector and socket
terminal (arrow) together as far
as possible.
: Slide insulating tube (1) over the
plug connection.

: Press plug connection (1) and
wiring into guides (arrows).
– Install short circuit wire and press
grommet into place, b 9.6.
Ensure that wires are not crossed.

– Install filter base, b 14.1.2.
Machines with handle heating
: Attach wiring (1) to retainer (2)
and press it into the guides
(arrows).
The wiring must not touch either the
carburetor levers or the spacer

– Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
– Tightening torques, b 3.5.
