– Remove chain sprocket cover,
bar and chain, b 5.
– Remove side plate, b 7.6.
: Push stud puller (1)

as far as it will go and turn it

counterclockwise to remove the
collar studs (arrows).
: Coat the screw thread (arrow)
of the collar studs with Loctite
before fitting them, b 17.
– Fit collar studs and tighten them
down securely.
– Tightening torques, b 3.5.

– Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
Before looking for faults on the
engine, always check and, if
necessary, repair the fuel supply,
carburetor, air filter and ignition
system.
