1D-52 Engine Mechanical:
Crankshaft
• Install the O-rings ((1) and (2)).
CAUTION
!
Replace the O-rings with new ones to prevent
oil leakage.
• Before installing the crankshaft assembly, apply
molybdenum oil solution to each crankshaft journal
bearing.
M/O: Molybdenum oil (Molybdenum oil solution)
• Install the crankshaft assembly along with the cam
chain into the upper crankcase.
• Insert the right-and left-thrust bearings with the oil
grooves facing towards the crankshaft web.
NOTE
Inspect and select the crankshaft thrust
clearance if necessary. Refer to “Crankshaft
Thrust Clearance Inspection and Selection: ”.
