5-12 CVT
• Rotate the bearing outer race by finger to inspect for abnor-
mal play, noise and smooth rotation.
• Inspect the secondary pulley fan for cracks or damage.
• Replace the bearing or secondary pulley fan if there is any-
thing unusual.
SECONDARY PULLEY DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the secondary pulley fan

• Remove the snap ring
2.
[ 09900-06107: Snap ring pliers
• Remove the bearing with a bearing puller.
CVT MOTOR
• When replacing the CVT motor gear, align the hole
A with the
hole of motor shaft to install the pin.
