REMOVAL
• Remove the right and left brake hose clamp bolts.
• Remove the right and left brake calipers.
NOTE:
* Cover the front fender, especially hatched area
A, from dam-
age.
* Do not operate the brake lever while removing the caliper.
• Loosen the axle pinch bolt.
• Loosen the front axle with special tool.
[ 09900-18710: Hexagon socket (12 mm)
• Rise the front wheel off the ground and support the motorcy-
cle with a jack or wooden block.
• Remove the front axle and the front wheel.
• Remove the collar

NOTE:
After removing the front wheel, fit the calipers temporarily to the
original positions.
Make sure that the motorcycle is supported securely.
