STARTER MOTOR REMOVAL AND
DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the foot board. (9-18)
• Disconnect the starter motor lead wire
1 and remove the
starter motor bolts
2.
• Remove the starter motor
A from the crankcase.
• Turn the starter motor
B 180° to forward.
• Remove the starter motor.
• Faulty starter relay
Correct
• Improper starter relay contact
Check the starter relay.
