INSPECTION
DETECTED CONDITION POSSIBLE CAUSE
CKP signal is produced but fuel injector signal is
interrupted continuous by 4 times or more.
• Injector circuit open or short.
• Injector malfunction.

Open circuit in the Yellow/
Red wire.
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Check the injector coupler for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then measure the injector resistance.
Disconnect the coupler and measure the resistance
between terminals.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Measure the injector voltage between Y/R wire and
ground.

Replace the ECM with a new one,
and inspect it again.

Injector resistance: 11 – 13 Ω at 20 ˚C (68 ˚F)

ignition switch is turned ON.

If wire and connection are OK, intermittent trouble or faulty
ECM.
Recheck each terminal and wire harness for open circuit and
poor connection.
