2-4 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE AND TUNE-UP
PROCEDURES
This section describes the servicing procedures for each item of
the Periodic Maintenance requirements.
AIR CLEANER
• Open the front box
1.
• Remove the air cleaner box lid
2.
• Remove the air cleaner element lid
3.
• Remove the air cleaner element
4.
• Inspect the air cleaner element and O-ring for damage. If any
defects are found, the air cleaner element and O-ring must be
replaced.
Inspect every 6 000 km (4 000 miles, 6 months) and
replace every 18 000 km (11 000 miles, 18 months).
