INSPECTION
• Check the disassembled components for any damage.
• Damaged cam dog
• Abnormal wear or damage of gear and spline
ASSEMBLING
NOTE:
Reassemble the components in the reverse order to disassem-
bly taking care particularly about the following items:
• Coat the spline area of the cam dog
2 with grease.
W 99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (USA)
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (Others)
• Install the bushing
1, final drive gear
2, cam dog
3, dumper
spring
4, spring stopper
5, washer
6 and nut
7 to the drive-
shaft.
• Fix the driveshaft assembly to the vise and tighten the nut.
! Driveshaft nut: 105 N·m (10.5 kgf-m, 76.0 lb-ft)
