Installation
• Fit the new O-ring 1 to each piston cooling oil jet as shown
and apply engine oil to them.
• Install each piston cooling oil jet with the bolt.
NOTE:
Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK to the bolts and tighten
them to the specified torque.
99000-32050: THREAD LOCK “1342”
Piston cooling oil jet bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
• Install the oil jet (for transmission).
• Apply engine oil to the O-ring.
• Install the oil jet (for cam chain tension adjuster).
PLUG
Removal
• Remove the oil gallery plugs 1 and 2.
1 (for cylinder head side)
2 (for upper crankcase side)
Use the new O-rings to prevent oil pressure leak.
