• Hold the clutch housing with the special tool.
09920-53740: Clutch sleeve hub holder
• Tighten the clutch spring set bolts to the specified torque.
Clutch spring set bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
* Tighten the clutch spring set bolts diagonally.
* After mounting the engine, adjust the push rod. (2-16)
CLUTCH COVER
• Apply SUZUKI BOND lightly to the mating surfaces at the
parting line between the upper, middle and lower crankcases
as shown.
99104-31140: SUZUKI BOND “1207B” (USA)
99000-31140: SUZUKI BOND “1207B” (Others)
• Install the gasket 1 and dowel pins 2.
• Install the clutch cover and tighten its bolts to the specified
torque.
Clutch cover bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
* Fit the clamp to the bolt A as shown.
* Fit the new gasket washers to the bolts B as shown.
Be careful not to damage the clutch housing or clutch
plates.
Use a new gasket to prevent oil leakage.
